Some games the opponents run up and down the field at will.

Other games the opponents run up and down the field only in the closing minutes when they can steal a game from us with one play at the end there.

And then there's those teams we DOMINATE like, ULM and West Virginia.

Chavis Stamp on Defense

We are the top defense in the SEC. We are one of the top defenses in the country. Did we suck it up yesterday? yes. The D is why our record is 10-1. There is definitly room for improvement, but I think it is ridiculous after a bad game to say that it is "chavis's stamp". He has brought this defense a long way in just two years.

BTW, nice self-bump.

I think they did a good job against bama, msu, vandy etc etc. LSU traditionally sucks when it comes to facing a true athlete playing sandlot football ie tebow, newton, masoli, anybody coached by houston nutt.

As a whole, the defense has been great this season. In the 07 season, Pelini's defense gave up over forty twice.
