Burrow was the better QB. JD vs Burrow isn't even a question without his running ability. JD can compensate for any deficiencies in other areas. Burrow didn't need to compensate because he was a master of the position and the game. The GOAT.

Burrow is not in the question if not for his throwing ability.

See how silly that sounds, they are both part of the qb position. running and throwing.

The difference is clearly the type of defenses they played.
Daniels would not go undefeated versus the defenses they played in 2019. That starts with Auburn on a wet field. Elusiveness that day was not there because people lost their cleats at times. Secondly, the 2019 Oline was PURE CRAP.
Burrow’s decision making and QUICK RELEASE is the difference in the 2 besides the fact he is better at moving IN THE POCKET.

When you pressured him the ball was gone which is why teams quit trying to blitz him.

This Oline will have 2-3 first round picks when it is all said and done.

Burrow was the best at pre and post snap reads. One of the smartest qbs imaginable. Very accurate passer and had sneaky running ability if he needed it. Unsurpassed will to win.

Daniels you have to start with his running ability. Jayden is special running the football. Very few have ever been at his level there. This year his decision making has sped up incredibly. And he can sling it. He is actually probably tougher to defend than Burrow was just because of his pick your poison factor.

Overall I do think Burrow is better as reading defenses imo is the top trait for a qb to have. But Daniels is awesome. Love that we have this kid on our team.
