I kind of think we were like this when we started doing well. It'll take some time if they continue doing well to grow up. I see us LSU fans acting with a little more class each season. Maybe we'll catch up to baseball fans!

I don't mind heckling at all...but for people to come and get right on your face and say F you LSU that is pure classless. I have been twice to little rock and both times this has happened more that I can count. There is a little difference in tigerbaiting someone and getting in their face and saying F You LSU

Hey, I agree. but, it happens and it happens everywhere-not just LR. I sat beside this bitchface at Kyle Field in who was treating opposing fans near us horrible. aggie's are supposedly known for being pretty tolerable & nice folks (other than being friggn weird) but even they have jackasses.
if people get that worked up over meeting a douchy fan of another team-stick to going to Vanderbilt games.

Most of Ar-Kansas is really nice. But if someone dropped a nuke on L.R. it would improve the state tremendously. Bill and Hillary Clinton L-O-V-E-D L.R., so that right there tells you it's the armpit of Ar-Kansas.
I remain puzzled why UA plays any games in War Memorial Stadium. The would be like LSU playing games in Shreveport's Independence Stadium.

LR fans are more than a little over the top. But I've been to Baton Rouge and I'll tell you that if you don't think it's just as bad there you are frickin crazy. As a matter of fact, even walking past LSU tailgaters in Little Rock you had to listen to stupid coon asses yell tiger bait at you. What the frick is Tiger bait anyway? To people use some sort of bait to hunt Tigers somewhere in the world? Wouldn't Tiger food, or Tiger meat be more appropriate?

War Memorial is a PIT, and a bunch of people on here make some good comments. I am luck enough *being sarcastic* to work and live in Arkansas. A friend of mine told me he would never take his kids to a game in Little Rock because the people there are classless. I know how it is though, watching the game at my In-laws with 30 drunk Arkansas rednecks is bad enough, actually being at the game. The cops would have probably hauled me off, cause there are too many idiots there for me.
And since the game every day I hear something about Hogs beating LSU. The response I give them : frick You!! Year in and year out our team is a lot better than yours!

I had a worse experience in 2002 and will never travel to Little Rock for an Arkansas game again. You would think the University of Arkansas would care what is going on and do something about it.
We had similar problems with our fan base not too long ago and Skip did a pretty good job of turning those issues around. Hopefully Arkansas will do the same. Having your life threatened after a football game is enough for me to not return.

Had a similar experience there in 2006, although we left with the win...def the worst i've been to, up there with Auburn this year

I pretty much had the same experience as every other SEC game I've been to. Some bad eggs, some cool people. The one constant thing that bugs the crap out of me about road games is LSWho?. Can we please make up an insult for these people to use on us so we don't have to hear it anymore. It's terrible. It's not clever. It makes everyone that uses it automatically a jackass.

In 2002 while trying to leave the stadium (which took almost an hour) I was threatened, spit at and spit on, and told that they were going to rape my mother. People also threw random stuff at me (glass bottle hit me in the head)
All this after they won on the "miracle on markham" play and after good ribbing all game, i turned to the ark fans in my section and said "great game"
Later that night my brother, some friends of his, and I, went to a few bars. He had a small LSU emblem on his explorer. When we left a bar in downtown LR, the back window was completely smashed and everything even remotely of value was stolen from the vehicle. Whoever did it then left a "LS-Who?" note on the hood of the car.
True story.
