Get right is not the right term but I used it anyway.

-Record yardage (close to it)
-No injuries that I saw.
-3 qb come in.
-We all wanted Harlem to get a big carry.
-We saw a freshman wr emerge.
-Defense swarms but gets some lessons on angles.
-Winnie decides to have a bad game against McNeese. silver linings.

But obviously we all raised an eyebrow when Lane called time out in third with 14:53 to go.
Was it genius? No.
Was it unprecedented? Maybe at LSU.
Was it different than last year? 100%.
Was it necessary? Yes.

This coach wants them to compete like they are playing for his former coach. Dare I say his name.

But that is what this feels like, but with a coolness factor x10. A guy that players want to play for and also has demands. A coach that players and coaches fear letting down.

Only thing I didn’t see was Zach Grace get a catch.

He’s had four or five targets this year and they have all been bad throws.

The last two weeks were good for Leavitt learning patience in the pocket and to trust his arm. He has made some beautiful throws from the pocket with this injury instead of taking off and running.

Mothershed at TE could be a nice target. Dude might not be Green big, but he is a big boy at 6'5 and could be a good goal line mismatch while Green is out.

Berry is starting to look way better with taking what is there and then busting a move for more after being almost forgotten the first few games. He could be an X-factor changeup to Jones.

And Harris emerging as a true long threat against A&M was great. Our offense felt like a well functioning offense the last two weeks and we didn't do anything that creative minus the 4th and 1 pass against A&M. I like where we are at going into UK.

Bad throws but catchable balls. He's not great in the passing game.
