If not, it has to be Auburn.
No way we are taking them to UK or Tennessee.

No full band trip this year, I'm told.

What's the excuse? There was no neutral site game that they've counted as a road game in the past.
We are literally the only SEC school that doesn't bring its full band to more than one road game. Some other schools bring their full bands to 2-3 games per season. Ole Miss and Auburn are both easily reachable by bus, so LSU can't use expensive airfare as the excuse.

Was supposed to be Auburn from what I understand but Auburn screwed us.

Can confirm that Auburn denied the request for halftime field access, similar to what Ole Miss did last year.
Apparently this has become a trend around the league. We will see the Aggie band at halftime next week, however.

How did Auburn screw us? They can't stop us from bringing the band.

Sorry, but that's not a reason not to bring them. Part of their job is to support the team.
Send them anyway and have them play nonstop during the game.

It doesn't make sense to herd 325 of them into a road stadium when they cannot perform at halftime. 90 is plenty, and those extra 235 tickets can go to fans. I don't think it is the big deal that you are apparently ready to make it into.

Disagree. Other schools do it to us, but we don't respond in kind.
I don't need to see the A&M band's military drill for the 100th time.

I mean, they provide the seats

They provide the block of tickets. LSU decides which seats the band gets.
This has to do with them denying Tiger Band the chance to do the halftime show.
I hope we remember this the next time we play Auburn in BR.

We will. I am pretty sure LSU is about to reciprocate the same "halftime access denial" to everyone who is doing it to us.

They have been doing the same 1/2 time show for 100 years.
Just to spice it up I would like to see 1 of them turn the wrong way.
Boring.

If they are not allowed to perform at halftime they won’t go, period. That’s all it is.

Then they need to get their priorities straight.
Supporting the team and fans is more important than doing a halftime show featuring music from a Disney cartoon.

Yea them denying us band seats doesn’t really move the “I give a shite” meter for most people

That's not what they did.

From our friends at AI: "Yes, the full Louisiana State University Tiger Marching Band (The Golden Band from Tigerland) is scheduled to travel for the away game against Auburn on October 24, 2026."

Let me help you out here.
Band people go to LSU to be in the band, which is about more things than football games.

Stadium too small for any big bands. Too much lost revenue to allow that.
