Can someone fill me in on this cornerback? When looking at the incoming group's numbers, I noticed that he is a New Orleans kid and Stanford transfer.

How was he at Stanford? Is he expected to get on the field? The first picture that popped up when goggling him is...

He's here for depth. I'm not expecting much from him.

Not expected to be a major contributor but could provide rotational depth and special teams duty.

Point being, dude googled alexander and posts a pic of him behind a notre Dame receiver. Jackson's last play was also behind a Notre Dame receiver, but not even on his feet.

He won't be asked to cover too many #1's. His best shot to get on the field is when Aranda goes to 5 or 6 DBs. He may be asked to cover a #3 or 4, TE or RB.

He's a #4/#5 type CB, not going to start but potentially step up if someone gets hurt and maybe play some dime.

Kid was an honor student and graduate of Stanford. Track and football titles in high school...Aranda will put him to good use.

Those are all great accomplishments, but they don’t translate to being an LSU/SEC caliber DB.
He’s a depth guy. Nothing more, nothing less.

He will provide depth but probably not light the world on fire.

I bet he plays a lot more than you would expect.

so do I. predicting future athletic performance is always "iffy" (play fantasy baseball for proof) but it is necessary to play a lot of CB's and this guy is sharp enough to pick up Aranda's system quickly.

Agreed! The ones saying he will barely see playing time are crazy! Aranda will play him and he will play a lot!

He was a solid player at a top 25 program. He’ll be the 3rd or 4th corner and probably play some nickel back
