At this point, I agree with you. Alabama, LSU and Vandy are the only undefeated teams in the conference. Most people agree that the SEC is the toughest conference in college football and Alabama and LSU have, at least early, proven themselves against tougher competition than Vandy. I have no problem with Alabama being ranked ahead of LSU at this point. It's nice that we will play each other to see who is best on the field. I wish (but don't really expect) we were both undefeated at that point in the season. The atmosphere in TS in that case would be unreal.

If we beat Florida we will be ahead of Alabama, not that it even matters at this point.

I've said this already on another board. Not only ahead of Bama if they beat UK, but ahead of Oklahoma too.

How can you say that ? Florida just got beat by an unranked Ole Miss team AT HOME while we just beat the #3 team ON THE ROAD. Beating a #12 1 loss (to an unranked team) UF team is a better win than beating a #3 undefeated team ?
