Its an unbiased comparison. Like I said, I didn't manipulate it so that LSU comes out #1
I've added more stats and taken some out, did all kinds of things and LSU keeps staying at the #1 spot

so the numbers don't tell you that Vandy should be #1 and LSU behind them (RPI which you didn't use, conf record which is the same conf at that, and overall record though similar)
total # of hits? hits rank? many teams play a different number of games so this is useless. Plus when you use a stat and then use the "ranking" of that same stat, you're double dipping
