Ok... clearly you can't be this stupid... Starting at #20 + winning the 2nd best conference in the nation does not = finishing at #20. Please, for the love, pull your head out.

2nd best conference.

Gave up 37 to iowa state and lost

Gave up 56 to TTech and lost

Gave up 36 to OSU and lost

Scored a measly 10 points against kstate and lost

Then you had 2 good losses against OU and Michigan State.

So ur d showed up for half the season?

LOL at this notion that every week in the SEC is brutal

As is the norm when a visitor's smack is weak, they over state what has been pointed out to them.

I have seen no post where any LSU fan claimed each week every SEC team faces a brutal team, but if you can't be honest enough to admit that LSU for the past decade has played a much more difficult schedule than TCU then you are not as football intelligent as you like to think.

I don't know how any loss to a 6-6 Big Ten squad can be considered "good."

As you noted, TCU also lost to a 6-7 Iowa State team and an 8-5 Texas Tech team.

As for the Big 12, one co-champion was decimated by an SEC West also-ran and the other was sodomized by Oregon. Great conference.

I see you have the same reading comprehension issue that a lot on here do. Nowhere did I ever say TCU played a harder schedule, or even as tough a schedule. I SAID that the notion that each and every week in the SEC is brutal is a farce.

That loss the MSU was not at all a good loss. Frustrating end to a frustrating season. Le'Veon Bell was their one threat and we still let them beat us.

As was the case in the ISU, KSU, and Tech games, turnovers and spotty defense ultimately led to the downfall.

I give the offense a pass vs. ISU, because our starting QB for that game had been preparing at RB due to injury issues. Then Casey went all drunk driver on us and screwed that up.

You know what's not a farce?

Four different SEC teams have won the BCS title in the last seven years.

You know of any other conference with that kind of depth of elite ability?

BTW, show me a post by anyone but you making a claim that every week every SEC team faces another brutal SEC foe.

5 turnovers in the Iowa State game led to easy points for Iowa State. I will say that TCU did give up 3 long passes to the Cyclones that game but the turnovers gave them short fields.

Texas Tech was in overtime and only gave up 35 in regulation.

Oklahoma State, TCU shut them down for 2.5 quarters but the offense could not move the ball at all so eventually short fields and a tired defense gave way to their 27 2nd half points.

Apart from that the defense was solid. Shut down a strong Baylor attack, did a great job of containing Kansas State, allowed Texas to do nothing, and held Michigan State to only a little over 200 yards for the game.

Well obviously adjusting to a league with bigger and better competition than previous w/ a bunch of underclassmen w/ little to no experience is going to take an adjustment period.

We'll see how these next couple years pan out. Recruiting has been getting increasingly better, so we should start to see more raw talent on the field. Coach P has made his living taking 2 and 3* players and developing them into AA and NFL talent. Devonte Fields is a great example of what he can do with a highly-touted recruit.

As far as the defense goes, the 4-2-5 is designed to be most effective against the spread offense, which is the predominant offense in our league (and really what football as a whole is moving to anyway), so as long as we've got the guys on the field who can execute, we'll be ok.
