I've been disappointed with the halftime shows so far this season. TGBFTL has been inferior to both WVU's and Tennessee's band from an entertainment point of view. The marching has been boring, and the song selections have not been very inspired.
The band still sounds awesome when it performs pregame and when playing in the stands. So, musicianship is not the issue. The problems appear to be in the selection of music, the arrangements and the apparent simplicity of the marching patterns.

There's been 2...and the second one shouldn't count because it was more for the saints game than anything else. And with 325 people learning that show in a week, I think it was damn good.

Problem with Roy is that he's developed a huge ego and apparently now feels he's too high and mighty to communicate with former TB/Drum Corps friends that offer suggestions on how to improve the halftime shows. Ego and stubbornness are just as bad in the marching band field as they are in the football coaching field......
