I love tailgating (just look at my signature), but I am there for the game. Tailgating helps to pass the time before my Tigers take the field. Hence the expression, "Pass a good time".

and thats fine.. however next time you are in TS, take a look around... watch people.
Theres TONS there for a social event, they dont know if its 1st down or if we are on defense.

I can appreciate your eager/faithfullness to attend the game but in no way does that make you any diff from someone who does the deal on the outside during the day and choses to stay and watch on tv, instead of walk in the game.

better yet, if you feel so fuking strong about it, stop by next season and express your opinion to me or any other of the folks that tailgates with us and see how that works out for you.

What does this imply??

It simply implies that sometimes people should mind their own fuking business.
Sometimes the trouble you get into is the trouble you CHOOSE to go looking for.

Walking up to someone you do not know and commenting about something they have that you may not agree with is asking for it...espec when alcohol is involved.

Is that clear enough for you?

They set their stuff up and didn't show up until almost game time in a spot that was held by the same tailgaters for 10 yrs. And they set it up before 4:30 on a Friday which isn't allowed. It is what it is.

Damn...why the hell was this thread so close to the top of the board?

I am sure BTs a good guy, but there is an appearance of entitlement saying he would move a person's stuff because they were in "his" spot first. If they got there before 4:30, show them more respect than they showed you by getting the cops or campus security to do something.

I was just wondering because you previously implied that there would be no physical confrontation. But I get it, you and your 50 drunk buddies may drop an asswhoopin on somebody.

no..my fighting days are over.
Id rather verbally assault you or let one of those other idiots handle it.

And I am a nice guy.

But for the 3rd and final time.....

Setting a tailgating spot up before 430 on campus on FRI and not showin up till after 12 on gameday is just unacceptable.
No if's and's or but's...... UNACCEPTABLE.

Remember, we were talking about etiquette. There is no rule in golf you can't make noises while someone is putting, just like no official LSU rule on tailgating spots, but you wouldn't do it in a game with business associates.

Since he has been tailgateing 20+ years I would assume he is over 40 and far from capable of dishing out the arse whooping. I don't think he was even suggesting that, he did what he did, If it was your shite that got moved maybe you would be pissed, my be he can talk you down and share a beer who knows. Is he right or is he wrong dosen't really matter if your not said party that shite got moved. But couger backing you up looks week sauce my man, have her put her flo name tape on, get to the diner, make me some grits and STFU

That being said, the people who claim their spots because they have been there for 4,5, 10, 15 or more years: how did you first acquire your spot? Did you wait for another long-time tailgate group to give it to you? Did you just happen upon a free spot that no one ever used? Did you just take a free spot not caring if it was the usual spot of another tailgating group?

Well they remodeled one of the buildings on campus it opened up some tailgating space.
So is that stealing???

Awesome thread. Appears BT is fond of a certain patch of dirt on game day. BT, I think if you post it's location on this thread, there might be some potential future trespassers who would be sure to avoid that area. Seems the logical solution for newbes is to show up about 4:30, set up, and have people stay with you stuff all night. Or go to squaters-r-us.com to find people willing spend the night (not free).

BTW, we have members at our camp who just hang around camp, cook, clean up, get groceries, etc., and they are much appreciated by the rest of us. Such is the case at most camps.

CougarBait is a cougar slayer, as in your mom, not a cougar. And if you think a dude over 40 couldn't whip you, wait until your other nut drops, then you'll know what it means to get some man muscle. Until then, put on your jersey, turn your toonces cap around backwards, and go back to learning lessons so the day will come when you will realize what a geek you are now.

The best thing to do is walk around before big and small games to find an ideal location. When you find one that you are interested in, ask people around the area (might let you eat and drink too) about bathrooms, intruders, etc. and make friends. That way you dont invade a spot that has been someone's for a number of years.

Finally, a sane voice of reason. I think that is all we are trying to say.

You make me laugh kid, 1. I have trained in MMA everyday since I was 18 (krav maga, jitsu, muay, boxing), 2. My job is to fight so yea I would have no problems whiping you up and down. Would I probly not since you would have a heart attack in said process. I was just messin with your name, and I know I am way more of a man than you, talk to me when you can get on my level.

Great, now I have some meathead kid that can't spell his name but likes to fight talking shite over the internet. My family would be proud. Just because your trailer tramp likes it doesn't mean its cool.
