It's not like the quarterback is the same as the punter, and you know it. Especially when the losing team's offense is built around the injured quarterback and the quarterback who replaces him is a freaking freshman.
A QB can make all the difference, see Vince Young vs. USC in 2006.

and either way... the preseason polls, that everone says doesnt matter, are already out. if this happened before they came out im sure they were different.. but its not and that means after we beat them the we will jump up a few spots.

My sentiments exactly. We can't be assured of a win, and I can only hope that the coaches have this team ready to eat nails if they have to. They need to win and win convincingly. Remember this. UNC created this fiasco, not LSU. To me it should have the intensity right now as though we were playing Bama and Florida of the same day. I agree it will be a tatinted win, but it will be an even unbeleivably bigger or uglier loss.
Just a thought for review by the mavens and wizards on this board.

It's all good man. But considering I quoted another poster who referred to the NZAA as "they", I was also referring to the NZAA as "they". I was saying it in reference to another poster saying he was surprised no SEC teams were being investigated.
