He likes to stir the pot. He has to have something to create controversy. He apparently accomplished his goal. He got our attention.

Gilbeau is even more stupid than he is unprincipled, but even he couldn't have overlooked the words "up to" in the policy statement he quotes. He is fabricating an issue in hopes of getting his story picked up outside his tIny readership. Clown.

Lol he took this from my thread yesterday.

I.e., this is speculation, not a news story.

GG is setting Miles up for critique.

The will not be suspended for the Alabama game. So when Miles reinstates these players next week (or Bama week), GG will get to rip Miles for not being a disciplinarian.

Yep. He will then talk about how LSU skirted the rules to get the players back for such a big game. And he was on the radio in Atlanta yesterday spouting this crap also.

Glen Guilbeau as a "journalist" is pathetic. His MO is to pen a glowing report based on factual information and statistics to be followed by his "slice & dice" sewage based on rumor, inuendo and opinion. It's unfortunate that LSU has to endure one controversy after another as a result of his shoddy reporting and even worse that there are so many fans whose only access to LSU news is his newspaper columns and and have no other access to information. He may well have missed his true calling...he'd fit right into politics. IMHO, Les Miles would do well to follow the Steve Spurrier model and exclude him from team news altogether...seems to me that his "sources" are all he needs to spew his venom anyway.
