Thank you. Like I said earlier, Erin Andrews has a radio plug on ESPN radio being played nationally for months about tomorrow being National College Colors day. It's not just "wear red day". But as usual, the locals in Lafayette want you to disregard the NATIONAL event, and go with their chickenshit little local "wear red day".
Just like how they plan Festival on the same weekend as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and claims that they compete with each other in numbers...

I'm just here to say frick each and every UL hater in this thread who feels the need to put my alma mater down when you're all supposed to be "big brother".
Catch a fricking grip...we aren't a threat. We aren't trying to be a threat. We just want to carve out a comfortable niche in our region that we can grow within. If there's an issue with that...then I apologize.
frick the LSU fanbase. But I openly support both schools. Unless LSU is playing UL, then I'm riding with the Cajuns.

"If you are wearing a Louisiana shirt, you probably went to Louisiana. If you are wearing an LSU shirt, you probably went to Walmart!"

The LSU gear is so much nicer than their gear...
LSU has Nike shirts, who sponsors ULL? Russell?

Well Big Brother is telling Little Brother how ridiculous he is being, and little brother is running to the other room crying to mom about how mean big brother is.

I work at a large law firm in Lafayette, and anyone wearing ULL gear on Friday would be laughed out of the building. Hell, they would be laughed at wearing ULL gear on any day. Our firm is die hard LSU through and through. Most of the attorneys are wearing LSU gear on Friday.
Absolutely, most of Lafayette's elite are LSU alums anyway.

If you consider higher crime and less fun things to do, then sure it is. Not knocking Baton Rouge, I live here and love it, it's a great city. I'd much rather live in BR and go to LSU then move back to Lafayette and attend that shithole school. Lafayette just has it beat in just about every quality of life ranking.
