Enough violence up in this board already.

Jordan-
I don't care if you kicked that guys' arse or not. You're a class act for the way you've put up with LSU's rabid fans for the past three years, and the character you've shown tells me you're going to be just fine.
Good luck......

Agreed. Have watched him for 3 years now and this is a good kid who does not seem to have the demeanor to be in the position he is in as his lawyer contends. You have represented LSU in an exemplary fashion and will be sorely missed on the field as this was to be his breakout season.
With all the discussion about Marines, my dad was a Captain at Guadalcanal surviving malaria with a purple heart and based on what I have read thus far, believe he would find it hard at this stage to feel you would be so out of line as to be in your current situation. There is always cause and effect. Life presents many hurdles so keep your head high as our prayers are with you and your family for a fair outcome.

Man, I like JJ and have looked forward to this season with his potential after having been Coached by Krags this past spring, summer and fall camp. But, for gods sake my fellow LSU Alumn and Tiger faithful I don't want someone representing my Alma Matter and the team I love watching and cheering for who Kicked someone in the head while that someone was on the ground.
I, like most red blooded American Men got into my share of fights as a child, youth, teenager, young adult and even once more 9 years ago when I was 31. Hell I was never kicked in the head when down and never kicked anyone in the head when they were down! When someone is down you can't jump on top of them and crack that nose a couple times but you don't stand over the person you just beat the shite out of and kick them in the head.
It's really very clear and simple. JJ and JJ were at the wrong place at the wrong time and that's freaking life sometimes. Until it's proven that JJ & or JJ didn't kick the Punk in his head while he was on the ground, then they should be suspended and if one or both did kick the punk in the head then they have to pay the penalty for that and shouldn't be allowed to represent The LSU football program. Should they get another chance at life and even football? Yes, but not on the LSU football team. They should be allowed to reapply to the University for their education, however, but should not blame LSU if they are rejected.
They are adults, and they made a mistake. Like me and others with a liscense required for certain careers, if we make a an error in judgment that is inappropriate or found to be illegal, we may or may not lose our liscense and if we do we have to find another career or petition for reinstatement, that's life and it may not seem fair sometimes but just like JJ, JJ all other athletes, they know if they screw up they can lose their opportunity to play sports. Then you just have to chalk it up to life and lesson learned and move on!
Defending someone for poor judgment, no matter the circumstance, sets a poor precedence and causes further breakdowns in society as a whole.
Life ain't always fair, life ain't guaranteed and there ain't no free rides! Make your choices and learn from your choices and move on.
Remember it's not about JJ & JJ being involved in a fight, it's about kicking someone in the head while that someone was on the ground.
Live large, Love Life, Love and enjoy your Family and friends and May God Bless The Tigers of LSU!!

I support Jefferson. I think his involvement is a result of something that pushed him to the point that whatever he did was a reaction that more people in that situation might have done.
The guy was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Hang in there JJ. Thanks for giving your all to LSU and I hope to see you on the field this year. Sorry you got railroaded in this mess.

100% support from me
You've given 100% to LSU. During my time at LSU (1994-2001) there were bar fights every night. I saw people kicked, I kicked people, and I was kicked. It happens. I hope you are allowed to play some this year.
Keep your chin up. There are plenty of us here that support you.

0596 missing the point altogether. Its a keep your head up thread not a judgement or analysis thread. Why is it so hard for some of you to read AND comprehend

I got yours back Jswag.
I think you and Johns are getting railroaded and the media is partly the cause of why the Brpd took such asinine measures. I guess that "innocent until proven guily" line only works when you like the person but whatever.
Keep your head up and hope to see you by October. Come on Uglesby(sp?) you've got a month to get these guys to drop the charges or the DA to throw the case out.
