1. Is anyone else not only tired of the stupid clock management, but also losing at least five yards each game at least once or TWICE on the option play?????

2. Not using the all american TE enough???????

3. having an EAST/WEST offense (option & wr pass) intead of a NORTH/SOUTH offense

4. is it me or are lsu's running plays the absolute slowest developing plays of alltime?

I WANT SOME BAMMM (NOT BAMA<>BUT EMERALD BAMMMM) IN OUR O!!!!!

Give me the pro style offense that LSU is known for...... plzzzzzzzzz

To start at the basic level, I would just enjoy a huddle.

It's pretty obvious that Crowton and Miles do not follow their own game plans. Whatever they spend all week discussing and strategizing about goes out the window on Saturdays. Perfect example is the many times Miles said that the gameplan has Russell Shepard getting the ball a signficant amount of times. Then when gametime comes, he doesn't even get into the game. Now that is having a game plan and not using it.

OK, durin gthe Penn State game did someone tell Crowton the field was pretty sloppy, probably the worse conditions we have ever seen on a football field surface? Maybe off tackle or up middle were not working? Did someone tell Crowton that he had 3 WRs that were like real tall compared to PS CBs and maybe he could toss something up there for them to go up and get? Did someone tell Crowton that every team we play throws passes to backs out of the backfield for good yardage and we should try it? Did someone.....reverse toss? Did someone....screen pass? Did someone.....tight end? Did someone.....shite, I think you see what Isee.

Just my belief and many others that hudling gets everyone on the same page and helps the offense get in rhythm. Just the little things that make a big difference.

Maybe. I just don't see it mattering much either way. I've seen several college and prep teams get in a great rhythm in the no huddle offense.

I think the real culprit was our terrible running game scheme. The zone stuff just didn't cut it. No misdirection, either. And the o-line itself played poorly.

And without a running game, we couldn't play action and help our QB with easy throws.

It all starts up front.

Because they actually know how to run a no huddle. A no huddle offense is worthless if you line up then stall and let the play clock get down to 1 or 2 seconds every play.

A combo of things. I have never liked the zone blocking scheme, unless your o-line really knows what it's doing and is coached up on technique. The zone scheme also requires a back with elite vision and cutting ability. But many teams run it, especially in the NFL, because it is supposed to "handle" any front/blitz a defense can throw at it.

I like a counter trey, iso, power, toss scheme. I don't even mind a triple option scheme if you commit to it and run it right. I also like misdirection and fakes.

So basically we had a vanilla, predictable, poorly executed zone blocking scheme that didn't fool or overpower anyone.

Crowton may not be there next year. Supposedly the bears are looking for an OC, and Crowton has supposedly shown interest. Why not let BG take over? He left Florida because he wanted to be an OC anyway. Who knows what will happen really. I will still be rooting for LSU
