lsu has already sold out enough and the U stands for University. The students that make up the university should not have their tickets cut so that LSU can sell out even more

Yes I completely agree. The cop that searched me felt all around my crotch looking for something in there.

No, I was agreeing with you.

I don't agree with punishing the rest of us students who go to every home and away games by making it harder for us to get tickets or jacking up the prices. No matter what they do, people will leave at halftime/end of 3Q and make the stadium look empty. Hell, I was in section 234 for the game and people were leaving all around us before the 4Q even started. But that was going on all around the stadium, not just the student section.
But putting in my $.02, I just thought it looked like absolute shite when you looked across the stadium at the GA section that was still full, then look around at the rest of the stadium. Yeah, we lost, and yeah, it was at home, but show some pride and take the loss with your head held high. /soapbox

This is too complex for some fans to wrap their head around AKA the people who look at football games as a social event and talk about how we shouldn't have kicked Perrilloux off the team.

Uh, okay, maybe I was the only one reading this way, but he did say to the right of the scoreboard. Looking from the stands to the field (like most people usually do), section 236 would be to the left of the scoreboard. It seemed to me that he was talking about somewhere around section 231-232. I didn't see any big gap there myself. But I did see some dumbass kids below there pull that beach ball stunt. And what the hell is with doing this "Neck" bullshite when the defense is trying to stop a 3rd down? Do they think swinging their arms like that is going to drown out the offensive signals?

Tiger Stadium empties faster during the game than any stadium i've been to.
Nothing you can do about it tho. We have the most ebuillent fans on earth-- when we are great were the best, when we suck we're the worst.
I just dont like being in a student section where there is no passion above the halfway mark.
Hell, they need to think about opening up tickets at the same time for all students. one of the problems is that tickets are so cheap that many of the upper classmen who buy them just do so to sell them off.
But there is no easy solution to enhancing the student section other than just making it free like basketball and letting only a certain number of students in before cutting it off.
