all we have to do is place Pot on the sideline and then we win by 41

Whatever you say will never change my mind about Oregon having a circus offense, do they ever run out of the power I or line up in a pro set?? I respect some wilcat and spread mix but what does the world outside of the SEC see in this Wildcat spread option every down? Auburn is the only exception here because of a rare player like cam newton, but doesn't change the fact that the SEC has been dominant in the country using old fashion smash mouth football!!!

1.) Cal used a myriad of defensive fronts, alternating its number of down linemen on almost every play.
2.) In the secondary, the Bears had at least five defensive backs on the field for most plays. They used simple man-to-man coverage on almost every play.

They are running some sets with the QB under center from what I've seen. Last year they didn't have a power option, but that could change depending on how T Carson does during fall camp. Blount was an excellent power back once he got back into shape during his suspension.

Oregon doesn't run a Wildcat and I'm not sure that's what Auburn called it either.
It seems like you wanted to have a discussion and then somewhere down the line decided you wanted to make this a pissing contest.

DT might sit this one out coach too damn blowed!!
Based on Kelly's comment's to reporters after practice yesterday he's known the details of the pot/speeding incidents since the time they've occurred and he's not going to punish Thomas for simply being a passenger in the car.

I'm not having a pissing contest and Basically auburn ran simulated wildcat with a wideout or RB in motion and then the QB read, hand off, keeper or playaction... Whatever you wanna call it basically the same thing and you know what I'm talking about... BTW what topic anywhere on this board doesn't change to something else eventually??

Pro sets yes. Power I not really but does anyone run power I much any more? Prob. because it's an old school strategy and there are much more effective strategies now. If you want something that never evolves try bowling.

Power I and I formations and pro sets as a base sure have served the SEC nicely the past 6 out of 7 years...
we owned the 2000's

Qb contain
Make DT beat you with his arm
Same thing I'd do as oregons DC with Jefferson.

What Cal did (the way I remember it) was disguise the defense really well, continually changing how they lined up defensively. DT didn't read the defense well that game. Then Cal faked lots of injuries to stop the clock and make substitutions and take Oregon out of their rhythm.
The refs let them get away with it and DT didn't adjust. I don't think an opponent will be able to do that to DT again.
So I wouldn't put too much into what Cal got away with.
Also, give Cal credit, they played a great game.
