”I am not hearing anything good about Brian Kelly,” Smith said. “I’ve interviewed him a few times in the past. I know he had a stellar record at Notre Dame. I like him. They looked awful at LSU last week. Awful. Tennessee just rolled over them, 40-13.” According to Smith’s sources, Kelly isn’t making a lot of friends so far in his first season in Baton Rouge. “I’m hearing the players (aren’t) fond of him, the administration (isn’t) fond of him, the fans (aren’t) fond of him, the town (isn’t) fond of him,”

Every single word is a lie. Every single one.

SAS knows absolutely nothing about college football, let alone what's going on at LSU.

Wrong. I have nothing against him. In this case, he sounds like an ignorant dumba$$.

Just like Finebaum... people can't stand the guy but constantly come in here angry posting another "Finebaum said..." thread.
It's a reflection of our socially engineered society. All drama.

Assuming it’s coming from Spears, Clark, a combination, or perhaps no one at all. Odd though considering insiders have said Kelly is changing the culture for the better and recruiting is obviously thriving, with possible consecutive top 5 classes (23’ and 24’), so who knows.

Kelly is simply an easy target, despite his elite track record. LSU is an easy target, despite its elite (top 2-3) track record over the past twenty years. In a few seasons, I can see a scenario where the WBB, MBB, and this football program will be vying or winning it all, think Florida 06’. Let the outsiders speculate as they do and the program build its way back to prominence.
