I've always been a fan of JJ and been patiently waiting for his potential to bloom. But by now realize he was over-rated as a prospect. He's not really a great runner--he can bull his way upfield and run straight in the open but can't move laterally. LSU has good running backs; it needs a QB who can throw the long balls accurately. Albeit LSU receivers haven't helped JJ out much by droping so many passes. Use him in the Wildcat; otherwise, put the best passer in and put the receivers to work.

Actually not. I visit Tdroppings all the time and read the posts. Just decided to participate. I know all I'm saying has been said over and over. Most of what's on this site is repetition, but that's what a rant is.

Did you not watch JJ run all over Auburn's offense. You gotta be kidding me. JJ run attack is good. Not Michael Vick. But this kid definitely can run. Let me remind you. TENNESSEE game. He out ran the whole frickin defense. Not many QB's can do that. Maybe Denard & Cam. Gosh.... You people just say anything that comes to your head.

Yes, the WR have dropped passes and so JJ's play is not as bad as it looks. Also, he can't pass protect himself. Even so, I think his game is way off and it is time to let JL start. That's all I'm saying.
