Been a few years since I ate there, but the Starkville Cafe had some dang good omelets, grits, and biscuits.

next question:

55 to 84

or

55 to 25

I seem to remember taking 25 two years ago...

I like 25. Since they 4-laned it the whole way a few years back, it isn't a bad drive. You'll get differing opinions on which is the best route though. One warning, if you are driving 25 after dark, watch out for deer.

If you are interested in the casino in Philadelphia, 55 to 25 then get off 25 at Carthage and Hwy. 16 will go straight there. There used to be two; the Silverstar and the Golden Moon, then they shut the Moon down to weekends only. Not sure if it is still open on weekends or not.

from baton rouge...55 to 25 much better since it went 4 lane. From New Orleans...59 to 45N if you are on the east side of town...if not..55 to 25. Also if you are interested in Golf. Miss State is one of the top Professional Golf & Turf Management programs...hence we have a kick arse course that is cheap...and open to the public. Not as nice as the Dancing Rabbit...but still pretty dang nice. 18 holes with a cart will run you about $50-$60. I play there all the time.
