Lange deserves ridiculous praise, but Stallings (a huge question mark) saved our bullpen to go up against a tough team.
This team believes...they remind me a lot of 2000 team.

Every inning he came back out I though to myself, "I can't believe he's leaving Stallings in." What a gutsy performance. Sure, he had control problems and got in some major jams, but dude fought hard and got the lucky breaks we needed! Geaux Stallings and

Yep, gutsy performance by Stallings

Once he got out of the bases loaded jam, he got better as the rest wore on. He was really on the last 3 innings. Gave up a little here and there, but made the throws he had to, when he had to. Giving up 0 runs in spite of some tough situations and several fielding issues was very impressive.
If we win tonight, he will have played a big role saving the rest of our arms.

I wonder how many people will come and like this post....those folks who were shitting all over this kid in the early extra innings.

what I am hoping is that he regains his confidence. the kid has some great stuff and you can tell he worked hard in the offseason with his off speed stuff; the stuff he needs to become a pitcher (as opposed to a thrower).
what I see in Stallings is a hell of a lot of potential. he is the one pitcher that I can actually see what good Dunn has done him. I predict Stallings will be pitching in the bigs one day. he's got the stuff.

Makes you wonder if he gets better as his arm gets tired so that he is not overthrowing his pitches.
