That Hurst, Blackwell, and Williford are battling for the 2 guard spots and JD is battling Shaw and Barksdale for the 2 tackle spots

B. Logan and Brockers are solid contributors at the DT position.

Francois is a beast at OLB

That another WR steps up to join CT, RR, and RS at WR.

JJ is progressing as well as j lee did from last year to this past one.

sam montgomery will be a star.

and hopefully, and i think we can all wish for this, richard murphy has his knee back full strength and has no problems.
if ever a man to deserve a good season, it's richard murphy.

This would be huge. We really need at least 1(preferably 2) OLBs to really step up this spring.

Why is it a big deal if he moves to Safety?

My question too... He is great with run support. I could see him playing SS honestly.

the main issue is the lack of depth at corner, although it's possible that Taylor moves back to corner this year. Otherwise you've got Claiborne and Brooks as the only others with even a hint of experience. The you're down to St. Julien and Mathieu (assuming he makes it to campus)

That RS is operating the Wildcat formation, and occasionally throwing a pass. That JJ is being challenged by Garrett. That the O-line is bigger and blocking/communicating better. That Blackwell and Lonergan are starters and Hebert is a backup. That the D-line is actually showing some push and making sacks. That Crowton has had a come to Jesus moment and is actually calling plays that play to our players strengths.

The linebackers this year will be interesting to watch. It is one position that we should have more depth at.

I truly feel sorry for those that wait on every single syllable muttered out of Les Miles' mouth and treats it as though it's the gospel because he spoke it. And then they actually believe it out of sheer illogical and blind homeristic optimism.

I agree. I'm done with that.

I will reach that point once again with a new coach and staff, but at this point Miles has blown it for a bunch of LSU fans with that aspect of it.
