Oh, so bitching/blaming the running game and the oline is now not considered bitching because it is not aimed at the root of the problem (JJ). Give me a break!
Oline was the root of our problems, anyone who does not realize this just isn't very intelligent.
Alabama won a championship with "below average" QB play. Its funny how they were able to run the ball despite an average at best passing attack.

Impressive discussion point...that must be how you reach such a no life proving post count.

why could LSU run the ball so well in 2004 when we had even worse QB play?

Better Oline, running backs, and Jimbo

Do tell Dr. Einstein! Just so I am clear on your hypothesis...you say the one guy that touches the ball every snap is not a major contributor to the problem with a 112th ranked offense. Okay, if I were you, I would probably look in the mirror a while before jumping to the conclusion that it was only the O-Line or the coaches, or the running backs, or the water boys, or the cheerleaders, or the....was the real problem.

try rereading what I posted. Now read what you originally posted.
How come there are teams that can run the ball very effectively with poor QB play?
Do teams not stack the box when they played alabama or 2004 LSU? A good offense line is more important than QB play. I suggest you go re-watch the Ole Miss game
We had games where we threw the ball well, but in most of those games or running game was still shite

I tend to side with this. It almost impossible to have good qb play without a good oline. The two just dont go without the other.

I read just fine...I don't agree with so many people on this site that can not see the other side of the fence. I realize that there were multiple contributors to the problems faced in 2009, but when one states something about the QB's role of an offense that was down right repulsive, too many on here want to deflect the critism onto another instead of seeing that he plays a pivotal role in the success or failure.
JJ, the Oline, the coaching staff and others have got issues that must be addressed or we are going to face yet another very difficult year as Tiger fans.

You are correct, but the point still stands.

overall the team looks more intense, pissed off, and ready to go
Let's hope that translates into actual improvement on the field in the fall this time instead of what happened last year.

Have to admit I wish it were anybody but a sportswriter saying this. They really are the dumbest people on the planet, and know less about sports than my coffee maker does.

I'm not saying the line didnt have their problems, im saying JJ was the root. the offense will only go as far as HE takes them...He has to grow up! If he doesnt improve this year its ALL on him....he's started for almost a year and half...quit babying him saying its someone elses fault..
right on point
