The only difference in this defense this week is the points given up. And there’s still plenty of time.

The tackling is still poor. The linebackers are still out of position and the receivers are still getting separation. USC just hasn’t taken advantage of it fully. The Vandy game was the same except for score. Vandy had plenty of opportunities to continue drives but dropped passes cost them.

Clark was recruited as the Vaughn Johnson/Jacob Phillips of the 3-4 defense. Not built for the nickel packages. He’s out of place.
