Something worth mentioning in regards to how O handled the Brady hire

Something I’ve found that’s worth mentioning is not only how successful we’ve been on offense, but also how confident our players seem in the scheme. I feel like a large part of this was bringing in Brady and keeping coach E on board to help ease in the new offense.

It’s easy to take this instant improvement for granted, but look at teams like Michigan or Florida State. They switched to more modern/up tempo schemes than what they used previously but they all look stuck right now. Those are the pitfalls of just switching straight to an entirely new scheme instead of easing it in. I’m sure Coach O didn’t keep E around solely to help integrate the new offense, but I can’t help but think that we might have struggled more if he hadn’t approached it that way.

that Michigan new "modern uptempo" looked like complete shite. Shea looked like a fool playing against army lol

Made me feel a lot better that we ended up with Burrow instead of Patterson lol

I had a great pleasure reading this thread on a Michigan forum, where they are all basically wishing they have what we have. It is amazing to have an offense envied by most other teams...

This LSU offense is scary. They look legit. They are tearing apart the Texas secondary. They’re a fun offense to watch

Burrow is a legit QB. We are lacking in that area

As for Michigan, the problem is Harbaugh. Not his competence, his uptight-edness. He's got to relax and let the kids play.
Risk aversion is sooo 20th century.

I have been telling friends for years that if we went more modern on offense...we would be almost unbeatable. This is so much fun.

It shows you that both a good scheme and a good QB comfortable in said scheme are important for success.

We are damned lucky to have Joe this year to run it. hopefully Myles can continue this success.

I legitimately thought for the first time ever that watching Joe Burrow’s command and poise of this offense is super reminiscent of Drew Brees in the Saints’ offense.

Wonder why Shea looked so good with Freeze and so bad with Harbaugh.

Yea the offensive change helps, but lets not act like you can just plug in any ole qb and get this level of production and effeciency.

Burrow is freakin beast running this system
