Interesting interview. Joe Montana is a bum, he talked crap about Rudy. He fits in good on the left coast.

Rudy was a great sports movie and a great inspirational story. And i am sure at one time, Rudy was a good person.
But currently, Rudy the person is a piece of shite.

Man I wish Klatt would call SEC games! This guy is the best color guy in college football. He explains the game and know the game better than anyone I’ve seen or heard. The dude predicts the next play most of the time and notices things most don’t.

Saw a show on the real Rudy. It’s very interesting (google it, it worth it). Granted he’s had a tough go, made a few mistakes along the way but all in got one hell of a story. He currently does some type of public speaking I think. Anyway Montana was at Norte Dame at the same time or something - he was on a talk show and they asked him about Rudy’s “1” play. Montana made some smart remark that tried to take away any significance of Rudy’s story. Montana has had more than his share of success, been blessed in so many ways and then he tries to tear someone else down. Like I said - he’s a bum.

As far as movies go, it is interesting how some embellish to make it better. Kind of like Remember the Titans. Gary did play in the Virginia State Championship as his car crash was after that point in his life AND they didn’t play Marshall for the title. They played Marshall during the playoffs - maybe regionals. But the storyline was changed to make it more dramatic. Gary was still in a crash and paralyzed.
