When you re watch some of the 2011 games where he ran through Auburn, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and UGA, you see the power and ability. Ever since that season though, he looks like he has no power. This is a guy you usually think is a 3rd and 1, 4th and 1 back. He's not though. I hope he can break out for us though.

I know I'm projecting, but Hill ran for 740 yards and 12 TDs his freshman year in 8 games. His first start we had to replace three people on the OL with a true freshman, redshirt freshman, and true sophomore for the rest of the year. His passing game was pretty terrible yet he basically dominated. I'm talking about the meat of the schedule. The only SEC teams he didn't get to play was UF and Auburn (he then ran slap over them the next year). With Fournette being a freshman, he has the determination to to dominate early like Hill did. I don't think he'll be averaging 18 carries a game, but I still see him crossing the 1000 yard threshold at least before the regular season is up. Something around 1200 yards for the whole season is my guess.

Look at Hillard's stats

He has averaged 5.23 yards per carry during his carrier at LSU

He has scored 21 TD's rushing scoring 1 TD for every 10 carries

Compare these stats to an all time LSU favorite Jacob Hester

Hester averaged 4.89 yards per carry

Hester scored 20 TD's rushing averaging 1 TD for every 18 carries

I think Hillard's play is solid not sure if anything has happened only Hill got the job and was awesome

I will look at the stats a little closer. Hill and Hilliard's stats against SEC foes the past two seasons.

JH 263 carries 1443 yards 17 td's 5.49 yards/carry(6.07 last year)

KH 77 carries 315 yards 6 td's 4.09 yards/ carry

Magee last year against SEC 46 carries 296 yards 6.43/carry

Injuries and having twins born after his frosh year caused understandable distractions, still think he can make some money in nfl and expect him to play a good bit in 14...

Hilliard is a nice 2nd, 3rd RB. Jeremy Hill is one of the 5 best RBs to ever don the purple and gold.

Yeah, most guys aren't going to look as good anymore when sharing the ball with a legit NFL RB like Hill
