Except last years players i.e Pleasants, Petty, Gueterriz, Newland, Briggs were more gifted

They were super talent talented show ponies because Leftwich recruited and ruined them and Dobson couldn't do anything about it(even though he was here last year and she wasn't). This year's team doesn't belong in the SEC but they're doing better despite the coaches mostly being DEI hires. Wouldn't the men be the DEI hires in softball??? Anyway, pretty straightforward stuff.

Do you think coaches influence how you play? What type of player you become? How you hit? Why was Pleasants a AA yr 1 and not since? Zero chance HD could turn around 3 years of launch angle in 1 yr. Last yr players were more gifted but didn’t live up to their potential because of Leftwich..not sure why that is so hard to understand
