Of course anybody has a right to express their opinion but if you don't see the team or pay attention to their games you probably have an unimformed/stupid opinion.

How many of you on here actually go to softball games? Probably less than 5%. From a school that prides itself on how much the fans make the environment difficult to play in, it is ridiculous that only one person mentions UF set a program attendance record and hosts one of the most intense and intimidating softball environments in the nation. Pairing that with a team loaded with freshmen and sophomores, and things can get pretty.

How about you guys actually head on out to a game and do more than see the recaps before you pass judgment on the talent level of this team.

Saying every player on Florida's team can hit a home run is unsound logic. Where are you going with this argument? What we are saying is we want to be the best at softball. I want a team that includes players that can all hit a home run. We need better recruiting to beat Florida. I hope they learned something from getting spanked by the gators. Forever LSU!

Since I never made that statement, I suggest you address your post to who did.

It takes time for a pitcher to learn how to pitch. Even though Fico was awesome in high school it will take time for her to learn how to pitch to very good teams.

Yes, she got hit around a little by Florida on Sunday, but her ERA is still barely above 1.00, which is great, considering every other TEAM in the SEC has a team ERA above 2.00.

Florida was averaging 7.5 runs per game before we played them. We held them to 4.3 runs per game in the series. I don't think that is so horrible...

Those stats are misleading. Her stats, along with the other pitchers, not to mention the hitters, will all tell the true story now that they're finally facing stronger competition. Take the hitters stats for example. SEC stats only: 7th in Batting avg. - 8th in slugging % - 6th in runs scored - 7thin hits - 8th in HRs - 8th in total bases.... the numbers start to show a consistent 7th -8th avg. That will not take us far in post season. Hopefully they get better. The next few weeks will show if we're contenders or pretenders. Ain't sports great!!

And you don't think stats from only four conference series are misleading? Especially since not everybody has even played the same number of SEC games.
