This is going to be one of the weird games with no announcers. Lyn is doing the baseball game with Ben.
I don't know why they don't get students trying to get a degree in journalism/broadcasting to do the games.

The thing I am most impressed with this season are the veteran pitchers. There was a lot of chatter about the offense being better which appears to be accurate. I myself, was hoping the new pitchers would be instant veterans because the team would need it badly.
I was WRONG and the veteran pitchers have been outstanding so far.
Maribeth Gorsuch (Junior) had a 2.10 earned run average and Shelbi Sunseri (sophomore) had a 3.68 earned run average last season. Comparing that to Carley Hoover who had a 1.78 ERA freshman year and a 2.27 sophomore year and Allie Walljasper who had a 1.83 and 1.78 in their first two years. The returning pitchers concerned me more than the newcomers. Luckily I was wrong and the veterans AND newcomers are doing better than I had hoped for.
