Napier was the best option.

I am excited about BK in addition to SW’s other hires. But, is it really that difficult of a sell to come to LSU especially when you have the ability to offer that much money?

Riley also said he didnt talk to any other school beside USC.

You really can’t put much stock in that statement. Although it’s probably a truthful statement, it’s not the whole truth. His agent would have many conversations on his behalf. There isn’t a coach out there that would have conversations with other schools during the season. Plus, who would want to hire a coach that was willing to do so?

Can we Stop with This! While Napier is a good coach and i sure he will have some success at Florida there is no comparison! Brian Kelly is the better Hire for Lsu.

For one he has done the same thing as napier at a harder place to win. It's not easy to do what he has done at Notre Dame!

Second if you are Woodward you just Asked for 17 Million dollars(more with buyouts for AC) 2 years after a NC and you are going to walk in to the Board of Supervisors and say we are goin to take a chance on a Sun Belt coach. Florida had that option because they haven't com close to a NC since there 2008 NC. So they can take that risk of a upcoming Sun Belt coach.(while i think BN will be a good hire still a big risk)

Lsu needed a big name with some national respect! We have had 2 cartoons as our last 2 coaches.
