Tech is not a cupcake

yes they are.

Well. They're not. Tech let SCAR win a game last year which Tech had in the bag with SCAR scoring their kicker's first career made field goal after a hail mary throw--at SCAR. Year before, Tech missed a chip shot field goal in a loss at Arkansas. Tech lost by two points in 2012 to Johnny football in a 57-59 shootout in Shreveport. Last time Tech and LSU played, Tech led at half, eventually falling by only one possession.

Tech has ALWAYS had offense and can score on anybody, unlike LSU's offense. It is a game LSU should, and most likely will, win. But it is not a cupcake. It is not Troy. But you saw how that turned out. Tech is much more dangerous than you'll admit, and it's not an indictment on LSU.

And Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, a resurgent Miami, and a Dan Mullen-led Florida in the swamp are freaking brutal.

LSU plays 3 of those 5 teams annually,

And? What does that have to do with difficulty?

quote:

all I've read on this board is how miami is overrated, Richt is a terrible OC, the ACC sucks, and LSU will win by 2 scores.

You didn't hear it from me. Don't be an idiot--this is a brutal schedule, but iron sharpens iron, and you've got to win the tough ones to be the best. This can be an incredible year for sure.

Saban himself is against the “cupcakes”.........yet they get TN and Mizzou,

You fricking people are so stupid! You act like Saban and BAMA have any say on which east teams they draw this year! We played mizzou in 2016 and you didn’t hear anyone bitching about how we got the easy team.

Stop fricking obsessing over how “easy” BAMA’s schedule is. It’s not easy if they beat our arse along with every other west team dumbass.

Worry about LSU’s schedule and that’s it.

Oh, and we gave Fat Bert his first SEC win that year.

That was 2014.

I take it you’re not very good at this college football stuff?

LSU football state of the union:

We actually have posters saying that a loss to la tech would not be an indictment on LSU.

2018, y’all.

La tech beat LSU once, in 1904. LSU has a 15 game win streak against them.

LSU had the 6th ranked roster and just brought in the 15th ranked class, per 247 composite.

La tech had the 82nd ranked roster and just brought in the 85th ranked class.

Here’s some homework for you:

Find me the last time LSU lost to a mid major in back to back seasons.

Are you retarded? I said that Tech's strength is not an indictment on LSU, that Tech being a legitimate trap game--whether you want to ignore it or not--has nothing to do with LSU's abilities.

See the words:

Tech is much more dangerous than you'll admit, and it's not an indictment on LSU.

Tech being good (not LSU-level good) has nothing to do with LSU. Not a soul that I've seen has said a loss to Tech would be OK. It wouldn't be OK. That, of course, has nothing to do with Tech being a game to keep an eye on. You "interpret" others' words like a dang ANTIFA liberal.

Oh trust me, I think every LSU fan will have their eye on it.

If LSU loses to Miami or auburn , then loses to tech, and is 2-2 going into October...

Well let’s just say it didn’t end well for the last guy who went 2-2 in September.
