I'm thinkin the good win will be for Kansas. Can't see any positive for LSU at this point. Hope I'm wrong.

Not sure it’s such a big advantage if Nuss starts.
He has been very unimpressive and takes a lot of risks.
He could actually provide more turnovers than Kirkland.
Oreally?
How many snaps have you seen Kirklin take?

That’s an exception that is not normal. Had Burrow not transferred to LSU Myles would have been our starter whether he was ready or not. I still stand by what I say. These kids will transfer in a New York minute at QB soon as the realization that some other guy is going to start in front of them. Might as well get some more in game experience now because the recruit from Lafayette may take his spot next season. If you are NFL worthy three years removed from high school is all you need to jump to the league.
You’re using Burrow as support for your conclusion when Burrow won a Heisman, won a natty, and became the #1 overall draft pick in his 5th year.

Burrow was a projected 5th round pick after 2018. The first pick of the 5th round in the 2019 NFL draft earned a 4-year, $2.9 million contract. As the #1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, Burrow earned a 4-year, $36.2 million contract with a $23.9 million signing bonus.
So if he had been drafted in 2019, he would have earned ~$2.9 million (on the high end based on his draft projections at the time) by the end of the 2022 season, when his contract went up for renewal. Under his actual deal from the 2020 draft he will have earned ~$30.6 million by the end of the 2022 season.
In other words, Joe Burrow’s redshirt may have earned him nearly $28 million by the end of 2022. It’s an extreme case, but it shows the potential value of that extra year of eligibility to a non-starter.
If you want to argue that the redshirt helps the player more than the school nowadays, I’d agree. But it’s silly to act like it’s meaningless for both.

I think Nussmeier starts. This is the Bowl depth chart. If he wasn’t going to play, they wouldn’t have listed him, just like no listing for Ward or Dellinger, etc.
