Can anyone post the latest details?
We know...
CEH was selling his old plantation
JS was with him in a truck in Scottlandville
Kobe Johnson was the victim who pulled a gun
CEH is the shooter and acted in self defense
The victim was in the rear seat and CEH and JS were in the front seats
Both JS and CEH released
Anything I’m missing?

LSU needs to put a geofence around Scotlandville and tell every athlete in the school they are forbidden to go there. The place has been shite magnet for LSU athletes this year.
Here's a better idea. Let's build apartments right next door to the football facilities, for all players to live in. Let's build a massive wall, with barb wire on top, all the way around the football area. We can keep all players inside those walls at all time, and only let them out to go to football games. How does that sound?
I swear some people don't think before they type. Last I checked these players were living in America, and they are free to go where they wish. You can't possibly ban them from any and everything where they may be in a bad situation. It's not humanly possible, and the evils that happen in Scottlandville, happen many many many many other places.

We don't know this. It is claimed that he was selling A playstation.

If JS is the walk-on LB, then yes.

This Johnson character WAS NOT a victim. CEH and the walk-on LB were the victims. Just so happened the victims killed the robber. Don't call this guy a victim please.

That's the way it appears. CEH was questioned and then released, so early indications are that he acted in self-defense.

That's what was reported.

Both JS and CEH released
Yes.

Yeah sounds like the guy tried to rob them at gunpoint and our guys protected themselves.

I'd definitely educate people that they can do private transactions at the police station. It's not a good idea to go meet some random guy in a dangerous part of town.

CEH is playing Fortnite right now. He just killed me with a Scar.

Of course not, but let's not sit here and pretend that all LSU football players need to be kept inside of a bubble, stripped of freedoms, and held hostage by the football program.

So there is still a PS4 for sale?

Here are the false narratives that are posted here.
CEH was selling his PS4 he got as a Fiesta Bowl gift, which is an NCAA Violation
This hasn't been confirmed in any way, shape, or form. I don't know if it would be an NCAA violation or not, but it hasn't been reported that he was selling that PS4 anyway.
CEH is not 21, so he will be in trouble because he isn't supposed to have a gun.
This is false. CEH can legally have a gun.
CEH is in trouble because the gun he used was stolen.
Nothing has been reported about the gun he used being stolen. Even if it was, self defense is still self defense. Using a stolen gun does not turn self-defense into murder. He could get in trouble for possession of stolen fire arm, but not for murder. Only thing that would turn this into murder would be if it was a drug transaction. In that case, any killing done during an illegal drug trade would be murder.

No matter what this was a horrible and sad situation that has to affect every one involved. It traumatic for everyone, esp the one who pulled the trigger. Why do you think Police agencies put the shooter on admin leave and send them to counseling even in righteous shootings? Messes with your head.

I would imagine. I'm sure CEH was well educated in handling a gun, and the proper times when to use it. That should help him out somewhat. I'm sure having a large support system, which he no doubt will have from his family and the entire football team, will also play a large part helping. Even still, I am sure it is going to be a difficult thing to deal with. Hopefully he can get through it, and hopefully there isn't some type of retaliation from the thug friends of the robber.

It is a felony though I believe. Hopefully it's a non issue. I think CEH is a pretty decent kid by all accounts. My neighbor knows his family.

I think it's pretty safe to assume if it was a stolen firearm that there would have been charges. CEH stayed on scene, so the gun was probably recovered immediately. CEH was questioned, and released, so unlikely that the gun is stolen.
Even more unlikely that it's stolen if his dad is a cop. Why would there be a need for him to steal a gun? His dad probably has 10 of them, and gave him one.

Yeah it seems pretty unlikely since he was released without charges.

I know I’m late getting here, but this is a great example of how to get yourself shot or killed. What an insanely stupid statement man. You’ve obviously never done any kind of training or simulation for this kind of situation, or at the very least researched something like this. The reaction time of your average human is not fast enough to recognize and react to someone before they raise a gun and shoot at you first. You’d be shot or worse before you have a chance to defend yourself
Glad to know that at least one other person here with common sense, and knows that what happens in the movies is not what happens when real bullets are involved. Had this guy had a real firearm instead of a BB gun one of these two players would likely be the one dead.
