This is why he will never be busted by the NCAA. If the IRS can't even get him, the SEC and the NCAA is child's play to him. He's going to go down as the best college football coach ever and it'll never even be revealed all the dirty things he did to get there.

so did he do all these dirty things when he was at LSU, or did he just turn into an evil little monster when he went to Alabama?

He lost two million so let's not chalk this up as a big victory just yet.

Does anyone know if Joseph Spinosa is Tommy Spinosa? If so he should have ran when he was approached as Tommy ripped a friend of mine off for thousands in commissions.

Are you so naive to believe that O and damn near all other big time coaches don’t bend the rules as well?

Of course he did. All big time coaches are skirting rules daily. However, this is what sets him apart at Bama. There, it's not just the football staff that he is controlling. He has a 1000% blind following from everyone from the university president to the local furniture story owner. He's built a network there driven by people that would have to take a long pause if it came down to saving the life of Saban over their own family and some would probably push their family member off the cliff without hesitation. People have to remember that you're not just battling Saban and his coaching staff.

i was being sarcastic. Of course all coaches push the envelope.

I was merely making fun of the prior poster who accused Saban of being dirty (without any evidence), but only when since he got to Bama.

I admit, I just don't get all the Saban hate. Yea, I understand he's at our biggest rival and has beaten us 8 in a row, and 10 of the last 12.

But he also resurrected our program, brought us a national championship, and set us on a positive course for the last 20 years. I don't get the hate.

I'm not saying he was squeeky clean at LSU but he's in a much more conducive environment now.

Of course he bent the rules at LSU... as much as he could. And knowing LSU and their draconian compliance, that's not much. Why do you think he's at Alabama? There's no better place to cheat and get away with cheating.
