good luck with that ever happening. Actually Miles is the only coach in LSU HISTORY to accomplish this over a 3 year stretch.

Wow. I sometimes even forget this. Thanks, Noonan.

back to Dinardo, your overhyping the hell out his recruiting, some good players sprinkled amongst average, but not championship caliber, so I guess I'm receiving myself or whatever tha frick you said.

I DON'T expect that. I know how it works. Its very hard to achieve. BUT COME ON. I want effort and a certain swagger LSU should have. EVERY fan wants that from their team.

and you think some of these dicks insults is respect, at the end of the day I could care less, I probably wouldn't have a beer with them, different strokes for different folks. They don't respect your opinion simple, but want you to respect theirs, that ain't me.

Dom Davis? Bradie James? Trev Faulk? Josh Reed? Rohan Davey? The Greens? Ryan Clark?

A "few" "good" players? So you are definitely not a fan of our players and our team (unless a certain somebody "special" is the head coach maybe?).

That is what I suspected. I was just checking.

Thanks noonan.
yeah, Miles is the only coach to be ranked top 5 3 years in a row and barely win a NC.

the NC should have come the first year.

Like i said earlier but you obviously missed....17 of the 25 players that went pro under Saban were Dinardo recruits. He didn't exactly walk into an empty cupboard. Dinardos problem was his shitty assistants and his refusal to get rid of them....not the talent.

I do want that as well, man. I do not give any points out for style, but that was part of my point in posting "the big five" scores from the Saban years. It's hard to have a swagger when you get blanked 31-0 at home. The Miles haters would never tolerate that, even once, and Saban's worst 5 games AVERAGED about 42-13.

At least when Miles muffs one (and the Magnolia Meltdown was bad, I agree with you) it is usually a game we could win. We weren't even playing the same sport as Roy Williams(WR) in the Cotton Bowl.

Why? He had to deal with a hurricane, and when he did win in 2007, he had to hear "Saban's players" until it made him sick to his stomach, I'm sure. IMAGINE what would have been said if he won in 2005.

you and I are just going to have to disagree about that. Campus was crazy that whole semester. Definitely my lowest gpa in college. I have no doubt it was even harder on the players.

2005 was an amazing season as far as I am concerned. You were living in Atlanta at the time, so maybe you didn't see what everyone was really going through.

you keep missing the point kid, all those guys were good players, but sprinkled in with average players, how many time do I need to say that?

You do not win a championship with a few good men, you have a team loded from top to bottom.

I will NEVER defend Saban on the BAD games he had. BUT ALL I know is that Saban LEARNED from mistakes and is riding on a NC at BAMA where he started his 1st year at 7-6 and in the INDY bowl. The last two years HE has been unbeaten during the reg season. HAS MILES??????????

I listed 31 players that were all well above average. That's enough for a two deep. He had three future NFL QBs, an all-purpose guy really only third to Cannon and Faulk (Dom Davis), really outstanding skill players across the board. The lines were a little light, especially the two-deep OL, but that was Saban's biggest weakness, too - OL depth. It's a chronic situation at LSU because of our talent base.

The 2000 LSU football team was loaded with talent. As was the 2005. Anyone who says otherwise has an agenda.

and I am going to disagree with you and ACE man, I know LSU campus was a mess, but that's not Miles concern, he's hired to coach a team and win football games, Katrina excuse is getting old, if anything he could have brought joy to those displaced, suffering people by winning the NC.

those 31 players didn't all play at the same time, that is what you keep overlooking, frick, and Dinardo wouldn't have led them to a title anyways.

That's what you got, then? Undefeated in "reg season"? Of course he was really, super-duper undefeated in 2009. But, refresh my memory - did he go unbeaten, regular season or not at LSU?
