JJ would have been throwing shovel pass interceptions to him and and then pout like a little girl, instead of it being Spencer Ware.

I thought the ravens should have challenged the catch in the end zone for a touchdown. It was clearly a catch w/ a few stutter steps afterwards, then the ball was knocked loose.
i was waiting for it to be challenged too... it was really, really close though, as soon as the second foot was coming down the defensive player was swatting the ball. and the rules state that he as to make a "football move" with the ball, and given that, it probably would have been tough to overturn, but definately worth a challenge.

Does the football move rule count in the endzone as well? Why would someone make a football move in the endzone? Just asking because lot of discussion about this rule here in my office today

I'm thinking there is a fundamental misunderstanding of what a win/win outcome is. What you are really saying is that Ridley came out ahead by leaving because he wouldn't have lost the NC game and is now paid and going to the super bowl. Not a win/win whatsoever.

For everyone wondering why the Ravens didn't challenge the call on the pass at the end of the game, they can't. The play occurred within the final two minutes of the half. All reviews within the final two minutes must be initiated by the booth. Challenges are not allowed.

The NFL released a statement on this today and said that the call on the field (an incomplete pass) was clearly correct. The receiver never had possession of the ball.
