gurley is tough…he went for 30 carries for 132 vs USC last yr Melvin had 25 carrie for 143
There is soooo much that factors into that. I cant believe how low the football IQ is of alot fo the people on this board.

One of the best, if not THE best RB's in the land.

I think that we can expect him to get his yards. The key is keeping him out of the endzone. I don't think that Wisconsin will present much of a passing threat, so if our defense can just avoid allowing him to bust out for the big gain, then we should win fairly easily.

He was committed to Iowa for months and then some weird shite went down on his visit, which was the 2010 Iowa v. Wisconsin game which saw Wisconsin pull out a les Miles dying swan fake punt from their own twenty to stay alive and go on for the win.
Apparently there were a few punches thrown in the post-game locker room between an All American DE and a loudmouth WR that would soon face drug charges.
Gordon went to Wisconsin a few weeks later and Iowa never landed another Gordon. Gordon is the real deal. He would play anywhere.

I just spoke recently with one of the Wisconsin assistant coaches. He said that, although Gordon wouldn't start at LSU, the kid has a lot of heart. Take that fwiw.

His calling card has been the jet sweep.
if ya'll want any yards he better hit holes in the middle of the line
because he won't get shite around the ends

Fact is, Gurley and Gordon are clearly top backs as evidenced by the mock drafts

Are you serious? mock drafts, before they have played the season?
you suspect.
Not sure about what mock drafts currently exist, as I steer clear of them, but plenty of NFL personnel have said Melvin Gordon would have been the first back taken had he declared this past season. Seems to indicate that would hold true for the 2015 NFL Draft, barring injury.
