I just transferred to ULL, and I wear my LSU gear all the time. Nobody ever says anything to me. Granted, I knew not to wear any this week.

Exactly, even though you should buy some UL shite, no one tells you anything. Someone might jokingly say something to you but it's never malicious.

Cajun Marine..though I respect what you said..and thanks for not being as arse about it..I attend ULL, best school around here for me to get me degree for Accounting..but i do wear my LSU gear on campus; since Ive been a fan of them since I could talk. This is America man, so everyone, feel free to wear whatever the hell you want to wear on whatever day before Obama tells us we have to wear Georgetown gear..thanks.

I bought some UL shirts just because I wanted to support my new school, it's just that half the tshirts in my damn closet are purple or gold and I have a 50% of pulling one out whenever I reach in there. I'm a man and I'll be damned if I'm gonna look at what I'm gonna wear before I put it on.

Haha... something we can agree on. However, we absolutely have the freedom to wear whatever we want!!! I love this Country, I fought for our freedoms, and will fight some more! But, the UL students, alum,teachers, and fans have that same freedom to say, dude, you go to UL. That's all. Being a respectful person (not saying you are not), I wouldn't go to a LSU game or walk around on LSU campus with my UL gear. It's not about freedom... it's about respect. jmo!

It is apples and oranges.
If a ULL student wears LSU on campus this week (or maybe even a week ago or the week after the game) they should expect to hear some crap by other students on campus.
If a LSU student wore ULL on their campus this week, I'm sure they would take a little shite too. Any other week though, the person wearing ULL crap at LSU would probably not be said a word to.

Cajun Marine..first off, thank you for your service 
..I can see where youre coming from..but for some of us (not these random asses who just started to like LSU since 03) actually are die hard fans of our school. We will wear our colors proudly, no matter where we are at..but at the same time, respect those who have other favorite teams. This is whats best about college football, hell college sports in general. The competition is what makes it the greatest sport of all.

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with supporting another school. On Campus or at a game, come on... your stirring the pot full of crap. Not saying it's horrible, but you can expect some questions about it. I picked at a guy for wearing lsu stuff at the last game. I was laughing then after, I said, man, I'm just picking, enjoy the game. But it did tick me off.... LSU was playing 50 minutes away, go there if you want to wear their gear at our game. It is simple. Not downing anyone, it's just aggrivating!! I do understand that you are a LSU fan, but at the end of the day, your degree will say The University Of Louisiana.

Isn't this entire argument about people choosing to support another school over their own? I'll never understand the people who attend one school yet want to identify themselves so badly with another that they use terms like "we" and "us".
