I keep thinking about that LSU team in 2001 as well. Tenn had the trip to the Championship sewn up and we beat them. That can certainly happen in this game.

I really hope it doesn't, I WANT AN SEC CHAMPIONSHIP

Good lord you're ignorant! LSU's defensive backs are widely regarded as either #1 or #2 with Bama's. And, no, your WR corp are not collectively better than LSU.

Look, no one gives a rat's arse about your turnaround. LSU has the best body of work this season and it's not close. The Tigers have destroyed every team they've played save Bama.
Could Georgia win? Sure. Upsets happen all the time. But LSU is a superior team to Georgia. If you win, LSU shot itself in the foot.

The combined records of the teams Ga has beaten is 55 wins vs 63 losses; Those teams avg offensive ranking is 85th place out of 120; Only 3 of their wins have come against teams with winning records. They beat Vandy by 5pts, Kentucky by 9,Fl by 4,and Tenn by 8. They have a good football team but cannot match our depth and athleticism. We win 27-14!

Or LSU could come out flat and uninspired. If that happens UGA could hang with LSU for 2-3 quarters and make it interesting. LSU will win but there are some things that could happen to make it a decent game.

Just to add... Oregon, WVU, Bama, Arkansas are a collective 39-8 thus season. LSU is responsible for 4 of those losses.

I definitely do not think we are taking UGA lightly. We have played em all one game at a time!

I don't see this at all. Human nature factor?? MAYBE. This team is ON the HUNT.

IMO. This game will be basically over in the 2nd quarter. LSU just has way to much of EVERYTHING that UGA hasn't seen all year. THIS could get ugly quick. UNLESS LSU just has like 5 to's in the 1st half. I see the same theme against the likes of FLA, AU, and Arkie to unfold. LSU just has way too much talent for UGA.IMO.

We do not let teams run on us that is the first priority. That is LSU's strenghth as they are 100th in the nation in passing. This game will be close.

I'm really reading what you have to say and trying to look at it objectively (I'm biased nonetheless). Georgia's defensive prowess is overblown by the weak offenses they have faced. The Georgia offense is going to be overwhelmed by the inevitable pass rush as they get behind the chains. But the difference, the reason they get rolled starting halfway through the 3rd quarter, is the depth of LSU. I see a similar game as when LSU played Tenn at Neyland. Everyone will applaud Georgia at the half speculating about an upset possibility and they will be changing the channel early in the 4th quarter as the game gets out of hand with LSU rolling.

Like Georgia, but they are no match for LSU.

Typical 37-14 or 41-17 type win.

I really hope this reply was targeted to the OP (Otherwise... please practice literacy!). I thought I was quite clear... LSU rolls... it won't be close.

UGA's defense is good but overrated. They're nowhere close to LSU or Bama. They let fricking Vandy drop 28 on them. No team has scored that much on LSU all season

Indeed... no worries... I agree with your score prediction... although I'm thinking we might give up a touchdown in garbage time a la Auburn... but I hope not. Hopefully we keep'em to field goals.

That being said, I'm impressed at how UGA turned it around this year, and they have always been my favorite East team

This year's UGA team actually reminds me of the 05 Tigers. I know they haven't gone through anything as dramatic as a hurricane, but they have faced a lot of adversity on the field and come through it. Unfortunately, also like the 05 Tigers, having to win every week for a long stretch can take a toll. UGA is also pretty young, especially on offense. These attributes may lead to a similar fate as those Tigers. UGA was the more experienced team that year, and it showed in the 2nd half. This year's Tigers are battle teated and killing everyone. If Arkansas couldn't pull it off, Georgia certainly won't.

It makes a hell of a lot of sense. What games have you been watching this year?
