People can downvote all they want, I am very very down on Gilbert. But there is tons of rumblings about this. Flynn actually did his job for once and brought it up, and Hester was reluctant to give too much away but alluded to the fact that Jardin Gilbert will play during passing downs.
I am preparing myself for the worst, because the only way our D isn't elite is if Jardin Gilbert plays significant minutes

All I can say about Gilbert is he played, essentially, with one arm last year. Hard to put out good tape like that.

That arm did not cause him to take horrible angles, miss assignments, and have no vision.
I'll give him a few missed tackles, but that is just the tip of his problem iceberg.

frick yeah. I like them moving Perk around some to create havoc, but if you can bring an extra LB or Safety down, he can be death to QBs from the edge.
