I'm more concerned with how many points we score a game and how many wins we have. That's all that matters.

6-2, 5-3 & 4-4 in the SEC in the past 3 years which led us to 2nd, tied for 3rd and tied for 4th respectfully in the SEC west means we haven't won enough games !!! End of story biatch!!!

LA puts out plenty of skill players but few QBs and even fewer Pro-Style

Got it but that does not mean we don't put out skill positions on offense in Louisiana. So we need to go to another state to get our QB seems to me we have. Texas and Georgia come to mind pretty quickly. We don't need to go to other states to get WR's, RB's and TE's so the tough sledding is done. If we can't recruit one position, even if it means we go out of state, what does that say about LSU's recruiting.

All I can say about the Chief is we both can do math. How many on this board would turn down a extra $300,000.00 a year? No one. It's a business and thank you Cheif for what you did for LSU. No time to move on.

10-2 (6-2) is nothing to mock
9-3 (5-3) after losing 6 Def players in the top 3 rounds of the Draft
8-4 (4-4) after losing Mett, ODB, Landry, Hill, and Blue....

shite happens. If Miles was ever going to have a losing season, this was the year. The decline is a fraud.

Nope I included it in a post said it was awesome and it is. But again I stated how long does it take for that year to be stale?

This years 4-4 and tied for 4th in the SEC west has used up that goodwill because it is now 4 years ago!!!

It says those players would rather play for the Bulldogs or Longhorns.

Why do you ignore the fact that we don't run an uptempo quick strike offense that racks up tons of yards? That hasn't been LSU's identity pretty much ever, so why are you so worried about stats that LSU has never relied on to win, including championships under both Miles and Saban?

That's the biggest issue with your link you keep putting up. That's not what LSU has ever done, and not what we're built to do.

Yes, the QB play this year was terrible. But it won't take some drastic changing of our scheme for lsu to compete. AJ, or Harris or whoever else, just needs to be efficient with the 15-20 passes per game, and we will be a great team. We don't need a Mariota, Winston type guy. It's not what we do.

Exactly chilge1 - excuses are like assholes, everyone has one and what comes out usually stinks!!!

Obviously business is not a strong suit of yours!!! You wouldn't know what a trend line is if it got stuck up your arse when you sat on it.

Then SOMEONE needs to quit recruiting QBs who dont fit our system. It doesnt make sense, with what youve said, to have either BH or AJ on the roster.

You get an upvote from me well thought out and written.

Unfortunately the uptempo offenses are here to stay and are becoming much more prevalent in college football and the SEC. I mean it could not be more eye opening than this years playoff's. Two teams that run uptempo offenses vs two teams that run pro-style offenses. And we see how that turned out.

I am sorry if I as a donor, alumnus and fan want and expect LSU to vie SEC west and SEC championships each and every year. Now I am realistic and believe that it will not but that does not mean we should not strive to do so and do what it takes to do so. With the talent rich state we have and the fact that we have no other instate power 5 school competing for that plethora of talent, that is the goal we all should have and expectations. Oh not to mention how well our coaching staff gets paid they should feel the same way!!!

The only constant in the Miles era is Miles. We have been through Jimbo, Crowton, Stud and now Cameron in 10 years.

tigahbader - trying to explain how stupid some things the staff does, oh by the way Cameron basically admitted that they have made mistakes on this subject specifically, to the sunshine pumpers is just like doing this eventually your head will bleed.

You can't explain what a declining trend line is to an individual who has never taken a business course.

Agreed.....Harris is not built to play in this type of offense. He's a thoroughbred chomping at the bit. He played in a purely uptempo offense that gashed opposing D's with tons of yards and points and quick strikes. Our plodding, methodical offense has got to be a head scratcher for that kid.
Some of it is his fault though. He knew who LSU was before he signed....unless he was lied to and told the O would be built around his skill set. Who knows.
I know people have said he doesnt know the O or playbook...which is a fricking joke with our "See Spot Run" approach. But the promises Miles made publicly about him playing more at the end of the season...only to ride the pines are an abomination.

Yep I thought that at first also. But then more articles have come out, including a quick one-liner from Chief, that lead me to believe it has more to do with LSU's offense than the money!!
