Wait a minute. This is the first time we've been ranked #1 since the final ranking for 2007. It is the first time in my lifetime we've been ranked #1 before the final poll. I want to enjoy this while it lasts.

So you missed when were #1 going to kentucky that same year?

While I'm not arguing either team should be ranked at #1, have any of you watched an OU game?
I have. I've pretty much watched them all, half-assedly. Me and my bro work a two-TV system if LSU and OU is on at the same time. Anyway...
LSU is definitely deserving of the #1 ranking. Who has been tested more? Who has played better in those tests?
We've basically won three away games against three ranked opponents. OU has played FSU (who doesn't look that good anymore) and Bama has played Arkansas. We've played Oregon, Mississippi State, and then West Virginia.
More tests, better wins against better opponents = #1 ranking.
Plus, OU looked sloppy as frick in the beginning of that Missouri game, so no wonder they dropped. I figured they would possibly be #3 since Alabama whooped on Arkansas.

I watched em play Florida St. I thought they looked legit, because I thought Florida St. Was legit. Then I watched the Clemson game....
This. I was at the FSU/Clemson game.....Fairly impressed with Clemson. Not so much with FSU.
Apparently neither team can spell DEFENSE.

It's not because he doesn't like LSU. Bayless picked Oklahoma to win it all before the season started. Anyone who watches First Take knows he's been driving their bandwagon all year. No surprise here...

lol, he just added some more comments:
Oh, no. My Sooners lose center/leader Ben Habern, maybe B12's best lineman, to broken arm. Hope he's back in time for national title game.
Okla's offense way better than LSU's or Bama's. Okla's D just a rung below those 2. So best team still OKLA, tho glad to let LSU wear target
