There are a lot of problems besides Mett, it is unfair to label him at this point.

-we have injuries in the OL, specially LT
-I do not see our coaches doing much to MAXIMIZE what it is that he can do.
-he was there all last year and we only chose to place him in ONE game...as Herb Tyler and many of us can see, we do not develop QBs at LSU... for whatever reason.

Capn Crunch, I agree with you and it would at least put in another wrinkle. Arnsparger did this with Hodson and Guidry and Archer continued. It was not a 2 quaterback system like Cholly Mac ran but rather that Guidry would get a series in the first half and one in the 2nd half. Hodson would come to the sidelines get a little breather and could see things from the sidelines. Had nothing at all with hurting his confidence. Of course , Hodson and Guiedry were more alike although Guidry probably could run a little better. I know you are not suggesting a channge at QB as some may have read, just a change in pace and I agree. At this point , what in the Hell would it hurt. I mean the offense, cant possibley get any worse can it?

I agree with you now, I thought the same during the NC game....it did not seem to help then.
