leefferson- strong arm, quick release, good feet. has the "want" to throw to the wrong team, but, fortunately he holds the ball too long and takes the sack. they both are starters at memphis. how about russell shepard running the r rod offense in tiger stadium with these great athletes. now that would be some exciting football.

They're both Juniors. It's now put up or shut up time. I think the offense has more "Potential" to move the ball better (Especially through the air) and score more points with Jarrett Lee. He'll run more of Crowtons "Multiple" offensive plays/formations better, but he'll definitely have to purge the game time nevousness and "Deer in the Headlights" mentality. He's gotta learn to see the field and read defenses better, but that AINT going to happen if he's sitting on the bench.

I don't care who looks best in practice. JJ and JL should split the reps 50/50 or 60/40 through the first four games. Miles and Crowton should then decide after those games who starts for the meat of the SEC schedule. I just don't want to see whomever starts the UNC game, getting 99% of the playing time in those four games, leaving the other to stagnate on the bench without any substantial game action to stay metally and physically sharp in case they are needed because of either injury or starter incompetence.

BTW, all you little kids that still have your panties in a wad over JL's freshman year Pick 6's need to get a fricking life. Lee was forced to play way before he was ready in 2008, but even then, we did move the ball through the air and score points with him in there.......

And I would rather see someone who doesnt turn the ball over.
And i am tired of wide open recievers being overthrown on the long ball.Either our recievers are really slow or jj cant throw the long ball. Hmmm lets see if ya can figure out which it is skippy

I find it comical how quickly you people change your tune.
After spring game (which was the last live action) either qb has majority of Lsu fans wanted jlee to have another shot
My opinion hasn't changed I'm sticking with JL.
I hope this dude is the biggest comeback story in our football history, it would be so enjoyable to watch some of little bitches crawfish after the shite that is posted about this dude.

Lee - positives include the ability to move the ball and stretch the ball downfield; minuses - needs to work on open-field tackling.

I guess you forgot about Lee throwing deep balls.

He always had ranging shots downfield before making a completion. Often his ranging shots were taken back to the house for the other team. His best deep ball was against Auburn. He would have overthrown that one, except he got hit as he was throwing.

Lee's Auburn game is so overrated. 1st off, he is the main reason we were in the hole we were in. 2nd CHARLES SCOTT is the reason we won that AU game. He was in beast mode.

I was at the game and rewatched it more than once

you might need another viewing.

Scott took that game over. Lee was Trent Dilfer in the 2nd Half.

Didn't win it, but didn't lose it.

Homecoming '09.

Jefferson, Lee can try his redeeming vs McNeese and ULM and hopefully do better than 7/22.
