Burrow next to lowest drop rate in the SEC???? LOL !!!!!
Hate to break it to you, but CFB Film Room stats are bogus.
Until they show a stat propping Jeaux.
A lot of things can hurt accuracy, like bad schemes and routes, and I really doubt the article is trying to throw shade on Burrow's RAT or %.
Maybe you should lay off the players and concern yourself with the one(s) who're supposed to put them in a position to succeed.

If I wanted a pro-Joe stat on CFB, I'd just type one up and send it in. CFB is Tiger Rant on Excel. Nobody takes those stats seriously (except a couple dudes on this thread)
Those do-it-yourself stats were debunked on the Buckeye boards 2 years ago. Do your homework. LOL.

“ and maybe you should lay off the players”
It’s interesting how before All failures were coaching driven and now all failures are player driven for some. It’s the same thing with the schedule. I don’t ever recall anyone being concerned over the difficulty of an LSU football schedule, but now 9 to 10 wins is some kind of special achievement because we played a hard schedule It’s as if we never had to do that before playing in the SEC West. The same with beating Bama. Before it was a requirement more important than all others and now, it’s more like oh well it’s Bama we cant be expected to beat them or even score on them.
It’s strange how all that has changed, but each to our own.

Do you seriously believe that LSU had 1 drop per game this season? 12 Total? C'mon. But 12 is what CFB has declared as "fact". Why? Because some random dude posted a spreadsheet.
If LSU had only 1 drop per game, they'd be 11-1.

I got no dog in this fight and have seen Burrow throw errant passes that wouldn't be classified as drops, unlike a poster with Jeaux in his handle just might.

Have you even looked at the CFB site? 12 articles on the home page. 1 is three weeks old... 6 are from August and September... the rest are from last February or older.
A real "state of the art" college football source! LOL

I'm not knocking Haskins. He's an elite QB. And so is Burrow - "and y'all don't even know it!"
Why is it that no one knows it but Buckeye Jeaux? Has he been hiding it?

And the WR drops were drive-killers over and over again. I put this on the WR coaching. These guys should be getting 10 to 20 thousand Jugs reps in the off-season (like the pros do). No way these WRs were getting those reps last off-season. No way in hell.
So it was the WRs fault? Do you think LSU WRs dropped more passes than the norm for the SEC. How about versus OSU?
Burrow's completion percentage of 57.4 was 12th of 14 starting QBs in the SEC. Burrows' 12 TD passes were next to last in the SEC with two QBs having 11. His QB rating was 12th out of 14. The drops that many blame for Burrows numbers? They were 8th worse or about average in the SEC. There were only six teams with a smaller percentage of drops. Yet Burrow's completion percentage was 12th. Can't blame drops for that.
CFBFilmRoom.com shows LSU with 12 dropped passes on the year. Ohio State had 20 dropped passes. Dropped passes become much bigger when used as an excuse. LSU WRs didn't drop any more passes than most teams and was about average in that regard. Yet we've heard all year how WR drops were the cause of LSU's poor passing numbers. Not true.
