There was a ULLOL fan wearing his 2000 regional t-shirt to the game tonight.
Remind me--who won the national championship that year? And I didn't see any LSU fans wearing a 13 year old t-shirt commemorating it this afternoon.

We all work with that ULL guy. The one who was pumped tonight about beating up the bearkats and coming back the next day to see ULL shove it up our arses. That same guy will be blaming they did not get enough tickets to support their team and that the umps were terrible.

Yet I deal with LSU fans multiple times a year during miscellaneous sporting events, and rarely have an issue.
The one or two times ULL comes to Baton Rouge, something always happens. Badmouthing, altercations, whatever. Not necessarily fueled by alcohol. Sometimes, but not always.
ULL fans tend to pick fights and have a cockiness about them.
Bandwagon or not, ULL fans are incredibly annoying.

It's just fun to pick on them because they (ULL fans) want to fabricate this "huge rivalry" they have with LSU based on what they do in softball and occasionally in baseball/basketball.
LSU is the 7' tall guy fighting the 5'8" guy, holding his head with one hand while the 5'8" guy is just swinging away as hard as he can. And every now and then the 5'8" guy will land a punch that does absolutely nothing.

The passion LSU fans have for colliege baseball is simply unparralleled.
USL supports their baseball team better than most, but all but save a small handfull of schools pale in comparison to LSU in support of their team

I think you're off a little bit with SHS... they had MAYBE 800 there. We had at least 2000. LSU prob around 1000 like you say.
