This thread was in jest. Obviously Mainieri already isn't going anywhere and is staying for as long as he wants so no extension is even needed. The reactions were exactly what I thought they would be. My only point was that Calipari and Mainieri have had nearly identical success at nearly identical programs and one is getting a lifetime contract while the fans want the other one fired.
