This is a classic case of the cup being either half full or half empty. Which is it?
Half full =
Half empty =

Jefferson played a large role
He played keep away from Bama, and led us on a whopping 3 point drive and should have had 6 but after 7 downs inside the 10, we came up with 3.

Why does everyone say JJ sucked in 09? He had a higher qb rating in 09 than Flynn in 07. I swear the major misconceptions that become fact on this site is astounding.

but I'd much rather that and taking a sack than throwing it up for grabs to avoid a hit.
Show me where Lee "threw it up for grabs to avoid a hit" in the Bama game? Neither interception was because of bad footwork or fear of taking a hit. Both were examples of making mis-reads both pre- and post-snap. The ball came out of his hand well, had good spin on it, and looked to be going right where he was aiming (i.e. accuracy). The bad part is that a defender was right there when Lee read/expected the defender to be elsewhere in coverage. By the way, that's exactly what happened on his only other INT versus Miss St.
Does he have poor mechanics? Yes. Does he try to avoid contact? Yes, but I think that's because he doesn't want that to force the ball to get popped up in the air and picked more than I think it is him being "scared to take a hit." All of that factored in, his 3 picks are all from misreads, not from being scared or throwing off his back foot.

Do you guys work in shifts making sure JL gets appropriately slammed and/or pump your JJ sunshine at every turn?
Do you take your turns doing the opposite?
Apparently so.

Sounds like you are upset JJ helped LSU win the game.
DO you knowhow ridiculous you are sounding?
Are you an LSU fan?

But football is a contact sport and them boys from Bama were guerrilas.
trouble only arose after the refs allowed a late hit in which the Bama defender took an extra step and leaned into the hit on QB Lee, who flew back .
it was late. it was bullshite. and the ref watched it. no flag.
If the flag were thrown there, LSU marches on down the field.
And Bama would not be cool about maybe getting in another late hit on Lee. And Lee would have known that at least if they hit him late it would give him 15 yards. NO sense expecting a fair game in Alabama, I know. but all the mistakes came after the late hit.

That's because qb rating doesn't take sacks into the equation. The LSU '07 offense broke school records for offensive production. The '09 LSU offense finished in the 100's nationally that season. JJ took a sack about once a quarter that year, thus killing many drives. You can't blame the offensive line when it has happened for 3 years in a row. In 2011 vs Western Kentucky, JJ took a sack in the endzone with a 9 man protection.

I'll be a little bitch just like you and mirror the post that I responded to.
Here goes it....
"LSU had two possessions but JLee threw picks on 2 consecutive plays.....on thank beautiful baby Jesus for JLee.
"
eta: Disclaimer: I like JLee, southernelite is just a little being a little bitch.

You can't support both? Why dog one constantly. Seems pointless.
I am on record constantly saying that I would rather the system where Lee started and playing most of the game and JJ plays in spots.
But as long as we win, what does it matter?
People are too attached to one or the other.
The success of both will lead this team to a title and that is all that truly matters.

I have never, and never will like a run first QB, that's why we have the stable of running backs that we have.

You are actually quite prominent in this 40 page thread as Team Jefferswag prayed for those mean popo to leave him alone so he could come back and save the team, never mind we were 3-0 and preparing for what appeared to be a tough game on the road against WVU. Note that other than a few that apparently are no longer with us, it is many of the same group piling on JL in this thread.

That is harder to swallow than McQueary saying he put a stop to what he saw in the locker room.

I just would like to ask you a few questions, it it won't get our blood pressure up too much.
And I do appreciate the time and energy you too to cyber stalk me. I'm flatttered in fact.
Ready?

He looked like his freshman year. If JJ came in before the 2 INTs; LSU might have won in regulation.
